The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) can help you:

  • Lose at least 5 percent of body weight in 12 months
  • Improve your physical activity to at least 150 minutes each week
  • Reduce the risk for Type 2 diabetes through the teaching of lifelong principles
  • Learn how to eat healthy in even challenging situations
  • Recognize and change behaviors that lead to poor health habits
