The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) can help you:
- Lose at least 5 percent of body weight in 12 months
- Improve your physical activity to at least 150 minutes each week
- Reduce the risk for Type 2 diabetes through the teaching of lifelong principles
- Learn how to eat healthy in even challenging situations
- Recognize and change behaviors that lead to poor health habits
